Once City Attendance Information
The One City program values consistent attendance as an essential part of each student’s growth and success. Regular attendance helps your child grow musically and be successful in the program.
-
Attendance Matters: Students are expected to be present and on time for all program activities.
-
Absence Limit: Each student may miss up to four (4) days per year.
-
Planned Absences: Please fill out an Absence Report Form if you know your child will be away.
-
Emergencies: If something unexpected comes up, email Dr. Mariana Gariazzo at onecity@vandercook.edu as soon as possible. An Absence Report Form will still be required.
-
Tardiness: Being late to class three (3) times will count as one absence. Mandatory Days: Some events are marked “mandatory” on the One City calendar. Students must attend these events.
The One City program has a registration waiting list with families eager to participate in our unique music training opportunities. Frequent absences may prevent other deserving students from having the chance to join the program.
